CALL FOR DEMOS (DEALINE EXTENDED)

HEALTHCOM 2014, the 16th IEEE International Conference on e-Health Networking, Application & Services, to be held in Natal, RN Brazil, October 15-18, 2014, invites researchers and practitioners working in the area of health care to present their research novelties and outcomes, or interesting early results and innovative prototypes, through user experience focused demos in the topics of the conference, including but not limited to:

• Biomedical and biosensors engineering
• Body sensor networks and wearable sensor systems
• Clinical biofeedback, decision support systems, and tools
• eHealth information and network Infrastructure
• eHealth for public health (including disease prevention, emergency preparedness, epidemiologic interventions)
• eHealth for aging (to support quality of life for older adults, aging in place and independence)
• Emerging eHealth applications
• Health grid and health cloud
• Health monitoring, traffic characterization, & management
• ICT-enabled personal health system
• Image and video processing on eHealth
• Network/Communications Infrastructures and Architectures for Healthcare
• New IT-enhanced Models for Healthcare delivery
• Pervasive and ubiquitous computing on eHealth
• Practical Applications of e-Health
• Security and privacy on eHealth
• Storage and Display Devices for eHealth
• Telemedicine and mobile telemedicine. 

DEMO SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

The demos will have one of two types of presentation: during the full duration of the Conference, at the common area, open and visible to the audience; and during a demo session included in the programme of the Conference. Proposers may choose to present in both.
The Demo Proposals should be maximum 2 pages long and include:

• Short description of the proposer/s
• If it is for the full duration of the conference; to be shown at the demos session; or both ways
• The details on the Demo, i.e. what technologies/ novelties/results/ prototypes will be shown)
• The details on the Demo experience, i.e. interactivity with audience, what user experience, which media means
• The Demo technical requirements
